Any selector the rendering engine understands - "#content", ".infobox", "table.wikitable tbody". The element is lifted out of the page and rendered on its own. A selector that matches nothing fails the conversion instead of quietly converting the whole page.

Note: Honored by the Blink and Chromium rendering engines. The WebKit engines match an element id themselves and cannot take a selector: with those, use VisibleWebElementId, which every engine honors.
