Refunds Policy. Try before you buy.
In general we do not accept refund requests for SelectPdf products. The reason is simple: every product has a fully-functional evaluation version you can test for as long as you need, against the same engine that ships in the paid product. The full reasoning is below.
In general we don't accept refund requests for SelectPdf products. The reasons for this decision are:
- All of our evaluation versions are fully functional.
- You can evaluate our products for an unlimited period of time.
- The products are well documented and we offer fully-functional samples with full source code to get started with the product.
- We offer free technical and sales support by email during the evaluation period and after the product purchase.
- We encourage you to completely test our products both in development and production environments to see if they entirely meet your expectations before making the purchase decision.
The SelectPdf .NET PDF library trial is the full commercial library — every feature, no page limit, only a watermark on each rendered page. The SelectPdf Online API trial is a free 7-day key with 200 conversions, no credit card. The Community Edition is a separate free product (5-page cap, no watermark) that doesn't expire.
For statutory cancellation rights — see Section 7.1 of the Terms and Conditions. EU consumers retain the 14-day cooling-off right granted by EU law; this policy doesn't override it.
How to request a refund. If you believe you qualify under one of the exceptions above (statutory EU 14-day cancellation, or another law that applies to your purchase), email sales@selectpdf.com with your order number, the product purchased, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within five business days.
Cancelling an Online API subscription. Cancellation is self-service — see the manage-subscription guide for the Stripe billing-portal flow. A cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to completion under the existing tier, then API keys return HTTP 401. Statutory EU 14-day cancellation rights still apply on top of self-service cancellation.
