Signs the request with the private key of the signing certificate.

Parameters

request  PdfExternalSigningRequest
What has to be signed: the data, its digest and the hash algorithm.

Return Value

Byte
The raw signature value. For an RSA key, a PKCS#1 v1.5 signature (RSA-PSS is not supported). For an ECDSA key, either the DER-encoded signature or the two values r and s concatenated (the IEEE P1363 form .NET and most key services return).
Remarks
Sign either Data with the hash algorithm of DigestAlgorithm, or its already computed Digest - the result is the same. The value is checked against the signing certificate before it is written, so a value made with another key or hash algorithm makes the save fail with a PdfDocumentException.
