Releases every certificate in the collection, the private keys they carry included, and
empties it. A certificate taken from the collection can no longer be used afterwards, so
dispose of the collection only after the documents signed with it are saved.
Calling it more than once does nothing.

A private key read from a certificate file is held by the operating system until its
certificate is released - on Windows in a key file in the user profile, which otherwise
stays until the garbage collector finalizes the certificate, or for good if the process
is ended first.
