PdfDocumentImagesMaxResolution Property

Gets or sets the highest resolution, in pixels per inch, an image is kept at.

Namespace: SelectPdf.Universal
Assembly: SelectPdf.Universal (in SelectPdf.Universal.dll) Version: 26.5
Syntax
public int ImagesMaxResolution { get; set; }

Property Value

Int32
Remarks

An image drawn at a higher resolution than this - more pixels than its size on the page needs - is resampled down to it, which makes image-heavy documents smaller. The resolution is measured against the size the image is drawn at; an image drawn in several places keeps enough pixels for the largest.

Applies to the images added with PdfImageElement after it is set and, for a document loaded from an existing PDF, to the images of the whole document when it is saved. A loaded document that arrived signed is not resampled, since that would invalidate its signatures. Gray and RGB images are resampled; image masks, indexed and CMYK images are left as they are. Default value is 0, which keeps every image at its resolution.
