PdfHtmlElementForceOutOfProcess Property

Runs this element's rendering in a separate engine process, whatever ChromiumEngineHostMode says.

Namespace: SelectPdf.Universal
Assembly: SelectPdf.Universal (in SelectPdf.Universal.dll) Version: 26.4
Syntax
public bool ForceOutOfProcess { get; set; }

Property Value

Boolean
Remarks
The default value is False: the element's rendering runs in the host that ChromiumEngineHostMode selects for the process.

Set it to True to isolate one element's rendering from the application - a page that is not trusted, or one likely to crash or hang the browser - while every other element's rendering keeps the in-process host, or to give it settings the in-process host fixes for the whole process at its first conversion (WebGlEnabled, the proxy, insecure content, local file access). It costs the time an engine process takes to start, a few hundred milliseconds on Windows.

An element's rendering with this property set does not decide the process-wide host mode, so it can run before or beside in-process renderings in any order.

Note: This is used only by the Chromium rendering engine.
