PdfSecurityManagerSignatureBackgroundImage Property

Gets or sets an image drawn behind the text of the visible signature Sign adds - a company logo, a seal, a scanned handwritten signature - in place of the default mark.

Namespace: SelectPdf.Universal
Assembly: SelectPdf.Universal (in SelectPdf.Universal.dll) Version: 26.5
Syntax
public byte[] SignatureBackgroundImage { get; set; }

Property Value

Byte
Remarks

The bytes of a PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP or WebP image. The image is fitted inside the signature rectangle, centred, with its aspect ratio kept, and drawn as strongly as SignatureBackgroundOpacity says. When null (the default), a faint red handwritten flourish is drawn instead; set SignatureBackgroundOpacity to 0 to draw no background at all.

The image is lightened rather than made transparent, so the appearance is allowed in every PDF/A and PDF/X document; its own transparent areas are kept except in PDF/A-1 and PDF/X, which admit no transparency, where they are white.
