The PDF conformance standard the document is produced against (for example an archival PDF/A level, or Full for a standard PDF with no conformance constraints).

PdfX2 PDF/X-1a:2001 standard for print production and prepress workflows.
PdfA2B5 PDF/A-2B standard.
PdfA3B6 PDF/A-3B standard.
PdfA3U7 PDF/A-3U standard (PDF/A-3B with the additional requirement that all text has Unicode mapping).
PdfA3A8 PDF/A-3A standard — the accessible level of PDF/A-3, which additionally requires a tagged logical structure.
PdfA49 PDF/A-4 standard (ISO 19005-4), which is based on PDF 2.0.
PdfA4E10 PDF/A-4E standard — the engineering variant of PDF/A-4, which allows embedded 3D and rich media.
PdfA4F11 PDF/A-4F standard — the variant of PDF/A-4 that allows arbitrary embedded files.
