PdfDocumentAddZugferdInvoice(Stream, ZugferdProfile, PdfAttachmentRelationship) Method

Turns the document into a ZUGFeRD / Factur-X hybrid electronic invoice: the invoice XML is embedded as an associated file and the document metadata is marked so that invoice software recognizes it.

Parameters

invoiceXml  Stream
The invoice XML. The stream is read immediately.
profile  ZugferdProfile
The data profile of the invoice XML.
relationship  PdfAttachmentRelationship
How the XML relates to the visible invoice page.
Remarks
The document must be a PDF/A-3 document (PdfA3B, PdfA3U or PdfStandard.PdfA3A), which the hybrid invoice standards require as the carrier format (PdfA3A additionally makes the visible invoice accessible, which the standards recommend).

The embedded file is named for you ("factur-x.xml", or "xrechnung.xml" for the XRECHNUNG profile) - the standards fix these names and recipients look them up by name.

Note on relationship: use Alternative when the XML and the visible page carry exactly the same invoice content - this is mandatory in Germany for the BASIC, EN 16931, EXTENDED and XRECHNUNG profiles. Use Data when the visible page carries more than the XML does (always the case for the MINIMUM and BASIC WL profiles), or Source when the page was generated from the XML.
